Straten was founded in Corona, California in 2016 on a single conviction: exceptional outcomes begin with exceptional relationships.
We relocated to Arizona in 2018 and established our headquarters in Phoenix in 2024. Over ten years, we have grown into a multi-vertical company spanning hospitality, real estate, construction, energy, and investments, with more than $500 million in assets owned, operated, and syndicated.
We operate what we own. That perspective informs every underwriting decision, every capital plan, and every conversation with a partner. We believe that when our people grow, our business grows with them.

Founded in Corona, CA
Two partners established the company on a simple principle: operate what you own and treat relationships as the most valuable asset.
- 2018
Relocated to Arizona
Established operations in the Phoenix metropolitan area and began assembling the hospitality and mixed-use portfolio we operate today.

Headquartered in Phoenix, AZ
Established Phoenix as the company’s headquarters and the center of its Arizona operations.
